Welcome to the Dollhouse
Episode 35 (click to play/pause)

Nicole, Harold, and special guest Jenny discuss the merits (or lack thereof) of Joss Whedon's new Fox show, Dollhouse, starring the inimitable Eliza Dushku. Are first impressions really all that important? Is Joss ready to add a genuine flop to his resume? Is it necessary to have your memory wiped every week in order to enjoy this show? Only time will tell. (As a bonus, the Shifting Channels crew visits McDonalds and just orders coffee.)

Thanks for admitting that you aren't crazy about Dollhouse. I loves me some Joss Whedon, but this show just isn't doing it for me. It's hard to get emotionally involved with characters that chance personalities several times an episode. Does anyone else think that wiped Echo acts alot like Buffy-bot?

You have to give it a few episodes. It's April now, so maybe the SC opinion has changed? Or not?
I'm glad you guys are back, I was out of the podcast loop for a while and just started listening again. I'm listening to your British TV ep now.

Chaweenie! harold! you've got a podcast. I had no idea. I also had no idea that your wife is a knitter and a knitting podcaster. the world is small, small, small. Did you know all of this? I mean, of course you know that you've a podcast and knitting/podcasting wife, but did you know that I am also a knitting podcaster, and that i know you. yeah. I do. Heh.
also, I felt roughly the same way about Dollhouse, but being a die hard Joss fan, I stuck it out and have to say that recently, things are looking a bit up.
