My favourite is Starbuck. I didn't see the original, so I didn't know Starbuck was a guy. It must have been quite a different show.

I actually like most of the characters. It was hard to get into at first because there were so many people to keep track of, but once I got into it, I really liked having such a wide range of personalities.

The one thing you didn't mention that I've been curious about is the Six that only Baltar can see/hear, and the Baltar that only Caprica Six can see/hear.

Hi Nicole & Harold! Finally getting to delve into your podcast--I love it! Good thing too, I'm not adjusting well to this every other week dosage of Stash and Burn =p

I'm only up to Episode 5 so my recommendation might be moot but I wanted to suggest My-So-Called-Life on DVD. The writing was so so good, Freaks and Geeks realistic and it attends to both teen and adult concerns like no other show has, IMHO.

It's a scooch melodramatic but worth it!
